Where do I begin. I've seen this place and heard so much about it as I've lived in Fargo all my life. It became one fo this places where I was like I'll get around to it. I wish I wouldn't have waited as long. First if all, Guy Fieri has eaten here so that tells you that there is going to be cm some bomb food. The service was amazing we had the most kind waitress. The food was fmso flavorful and filling. We will be back soon!
Super fun place and great, unique pizza! The BLT was my favorite but we tried a couple other fun ones on the menu too. Went with a group of 6 people and we got 4 pizzas..devoured it all...so good! 10/10 It felt geared more towards adults and there is not a huge amount of seating so you may have to wait for a table at busy times. My husband is dairy free and was able to enjoy the BLT pizza so that was great.
Pizzas are really good. We love the wood-fired taste and we’re not disappointed. Servers are friendly. We had a pepperoni pizza, sausage apple pizza, and the cheese bread and they were all really good.
Food was awesome. Special variation on Hawaiian included jalapenos and barbecue sauce, with just the right balance of ingredients and a chewy light crust. So delicious. Pepperoni pizza was great balance of sauce and cheese. Wedge salad was amazing. Dr. Pepper. Service was top notch, quick and highly attentive. And the take home box was paper not styrofoam, yay!
Simplicity is welcomed!! The menu totes the story of this Family owned business and the simple ingredients with gourmet flair! Flavorful pizza combinations enhanced by the woodfired oven, subtle smokiness without overpowering delicate flavors!! Decor was charmingly dark without being crass. Blackbird staff were very receptive and responsive, checking in on our table. Pizza throwing is a dying art, but not at Blackbird Woodfired Pizza. The longevity of the staff members makes for a close-knit bond, each with their specific jobs, but working as a team!! Great job to the staff!! " Even the staff have to eat! "
Thought we would give this restaurant a try. I think there are many ways to make a pizza and hard to make a bad one but it’s equally hard to make on that is amazing and stands out from the others. Well they did it. The pizza is amazing with unique but great tasting combination. It’s a fun restaurant that makes you feel invited. The staff is fun and keeps your drinks full. The pizza is wood fired and comes out fast. Cost is a little on the high side BUT it’s worth it. You get what you pay for good food isn’t cheap and cheap food isn’t good. I love this place everytime I visit Fargo. Love the salads and build your own pizza. Lunch has smaller size available if you are dining alone.
Was looking for a place to eat while traveling out of town. Did some online research and decided on this local place. Love woodfire pizza and this place didn’t disappoint. Place was crowded and had to wait but it was well worth it. Wait staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
